The annual 20th Century Cincinnati show begins this Saturday at the Sharonville Convention Center. 75 exhibitors, mostly from the Mid West region, will be exhibiting a huge array of furnishings, art and clothing from the WWI era through the 1970's.
The special exhibit this year is La Dolce Vita, a retrospective on the influence of Italian designers on modern art, architecture and fashion. Expect to crave an espresso and start talking with your hands!
I'm most looking forward to seeing what kind of vintage fashion and accessories are on hand. There's no better way to explore your sartorial wild side than a really cool vintage accessory. I'll be on the lookout for some new lingerie pins which I keep buying but haven't figured out where to stick 'em yet!
I have it on good authority that if you can swing it, spring for the Java preview. It's much less crowded and you can get your hands on the best stuff. What are some of the things you might be looking for?
